How It Works

You must be a CLEP member in good standing to apply for a certification.

Register for DAU Courses

CLEP builds our certification programs on the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) logistics courses. CLEP offers three levels of certifications.

See Certification Requirements at bottom of this page.
Step One

Complete the Courses

You must complete all coursework and work requirements for a given certification level before applying.
Step Two

Submit Your Application

Go to the application page “Request CLEP Certification.” You must be logged into this website to access this page. Complete the application, upload supporting documents as described, and pay the $75 certification fee. Supporting documents include an unofficial copy of transcripts or copies of the course completion certificates, a letter of endorsement from your firm, and a copy of your resume.
Step Three

CLEP Review

CLEP will review your application to determine all requirements have been met. Once approved, you will be notified. This review typically takes two to three weeks.
Step Four

Continuing Education

Certifications are valid for five years from the date issued. You may renew your certification by meeting CLEP’s continuing education requirements.
