Study Participation Follow-up

Last month we reported that CLEP had been approached by Ms. Nicole Glass, a contractor with RTI, representing the US Department of Labor for the O*NET data collection program. She was looking for volunteers from our members for updating their database information. Nicole has since let me know she did receive several responses, and sends her thanks for our interest and support.

For more information on the O*NET database, please download their Fact Sheet. Volunteers to share knowledge on skillsets and labor category classifications are still welcome.

Update on CLEP Certification Standards

Effective this month, the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) has moved their certification programs to a two-level standard. The new certification standards for all their programs an be found on their catalog page. CLEP has mirrored the DAU standards with our Lifecycle Logistics certification program. However, our programs were built using the three-level standard. We are still discussing how we might modify our program in view of DAU's new standards. For now, our certification program remains at three-levels.

Please see our Defense Industry Lifecycle Certification Programs factpage for more information.
